My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although beautifully designed, were on the smaller side, but they were very comfortable and impeccably sanitized. The proximity to the church meant being woken up by the bells early in the morning, which might be disturbing for light sleepers.

The service was attentive and professional, specializing in a variety of Scotches and other liquors. The location, while perfectly situated between Lake Constance, Black Forest, and the Swabian Alb, felt a bit ungemuetlich and was a bit far from the bahnhof with limited taxi availability. The dining options were satisfactory but lacked variety, and the facilities were pleasant overall.
